Dear Community,

Since our founding, our pledge has always been to build capacity in Snohomish County organizations through sustainable projects. These projects specialize and focus on lifting individuals out of poverty through the partnership with AmeriCorps.

Today we are very pleased to announce that our AmeriCorps members have the opportunity to bring their community service out of Snohomish County, and into the heart of the Dominican Republic.

Our team is set to depart for the Dominican Republic in May, in which we will set out for one week in helping local village communities in Dajabon Province. Our AmeriCorps members are extremely enthusiastic, and are looking forward to helping spread their service unto others in many community growth projects such as fostering literature & education, addressing community needs, fostering local relationships between our organizations and much much more!

Photographs will be posted on our main page as soon as our trip is completed. We look forward to updating you all in all of our near future endeavors!

Best,

The HopeWorks VISTA Team
